Top Ten Things NOT to Include in a Chocolate Gift Basket
Through exhaustive and tireless research we have developed a list sure to help chocolate gift buyers the world over. All too often at Valentine's Day or other romantic events, countless men can be seen scratching their heads at jewelry counters and candy stores the world over. Since the professionals in these environments are highly trained in what should be included in the chocolate gift basket we designed this list to assist men everywhere.
10. Tools. Never include tools of any kind in a romantic gift. While it may seem practical, practical is not romantic in any fashion.
9. The Swimsuit Issue. Around Valentine's Day many women begin to long for the warm days of summer and start to think of purchasing their next swimsuit. A swimsuit issue from ANY magazine should not be in a romantic gift! While your intent may be to assist with the purchasing decision, it almost certainly will not be seen as helpful in any way.
8. A gift membership to a gym. Enough said - obvious.
7. A gift card to Home Depot. See reason 9 or 10 for further clarification.
6. Fishing tackle. Even the most ardent fisher woman will not see the latest spinner bait as romantic.
5. Faux jewelry. Women can smell glass, know this, live this, remember this! If you are going to include jewelry it better be real.
4. Football tickets. The only acceptable tickets to include in a romantic gift include, cruise ships, romantic resorts, or the ballet.
3. Vehicle keys. Only unless they are keys to a really nice vehicle. Boat, truck, or ATV keys do not count, so don't even try it.
2. Cleaning equipment or supplies. Need we say more, really?
The number one thing NOT to include in a chocolate gift basket:
1. Beer! If you are going to include alcohol include wine, sparkling or otherwise it better be expensive!
With these top tips anyone can successfully navigate giving incredibly delicious and well appreciated chocolate gifts! And after all, if you are going to give something - you may as well give something that they want - not something that will land you in the doghouse!
