Most coffee grinders seen at home are the electric type. These are coffee appliances with cords that extend to power outlets for it to run. Electric coffee grinders conveniently help produce freshly ground coffee beans. It can produce a flavorful cup of coffee the same way as the more heavy duty types seen in coffee shops.

There are three types of electric grinders. These are blade, burr (Flat Wheel) and burr (Conical). Each one differs in the manner it grinds coffee beans, but it all works under the same basic premise of extracting the bitter flavor of coffee beans in hot water.

There are about a few hundreds of models of these grinders. Some models come cheaper which possess only the most basic features of coffee grinding. Others are more expensive and classy. We tackle here only a few of the more affordable and value for money coffee grinder models in the market.
