Beat the Summer Heat With Refreshing Drinks

Get energized this summer with instantaneous, self made, water based drinks to keep you refreshed throughout the day. These drinks will help restore all the water content that has been lost from the body and keep you feeling fresh, healthy and energized.

1. Lemonade:

Ingredients required: (1 glass)
½ glass of water
½ bottle of chilled club soda
½ tea spoon of sugar
½ tea spoon of salt
2 pinch black pepper
1 whole squeezed lime juice

Note: Ice cubes can be used according to your need.

How to prepare: Pour the water in the glass. Shake the bottle of soda and pour it into the glass containing water. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix it. Add crushed ice if required.

Serving style: Serve with a slice of lime to the sides of the glass.

2. Refreshing Mint:

Ingredients required: (1 glass)
A glass of Cold water
Handful of Fresh mint leaves
2 tea spoon lime juice
Salt to taste
¼ tea spoon of black pepper powder

Method: Grind all the ingredients well in the mixer and serve in the glass with some crushed pieces of ice in it. Garnish with a slice of lime to the sides of the glass.

Note: Salt can be replaced with sugar for a sweet tooth.

3. Vegetable Juice.

Ingredients: (2 Glasses)
3 Medium size tomatoes
6 Carrots
1 whole beetroot
Handful of fresh mint leaves
1 gooseberry ( for a tangy taste if required)
1 large squeezed lemon
Salt to taste
¼ tea spoon black pepper powder

Method: Grind the vegetables in the juicer with the mint leaves. Pour it in the glasses. Now add the lime juice, salt, pepper to the juice and mix it well. Add some mint leaves while serving.
